The Flexi-Unit-Dimensions object is designed for the dimensioning of HBIM components in freely definable measurement units. It allows you to move beyond standard meters and apply any unit of your choice – for example, Egyptian royal cubits – with dimension texts automatically displayed in that system.
The object is fully stretchable and can be extended with any number of dimension points. Dimension guide lines are flexible, and all attributes are fully editable to match your project requirements. To further enhance clarity, you can assign a custom unit symbol from the standard font catalog and set it as the default for your dimensions.
This makes Flexi-Unit-Dimensions a versatile tool not only for conventional BIM workflows, but also for specialized cultural heritage projects and research-based applications where alternative measurement systems are essential.
